To manufacture WOOLGALAXY®-brand products, an elastic jersey fabric has been designed and patented, providing for prescribed service and curative properties.
The technology of manufacture and the composition of part-wool/wool yarn containing camel wool** for making the elastic jersey fabric have been designed and patented specifically for creating the WOOLGALAXY®-brand products.
**Interaction of a particular combination of wool fibers in length and in fineness (camel wool or alpaca wool) provides for a massage and warming effect.
Bandages perform a massage effect on the human skin. Simultaneously with the warming effect, they favor blood influx to a sore place, release of a painful spasm and are used as preventive means or for treating in a combined therapy of chronic and acute diseases: of small pelvis organs (cystitis, prostatitis, paroophorons, urogenital system), of the spine lumbosacral part organs (radiculitis, lumbago, neurology diseases), of the lower and upper extremities (arthritis, arthrosis, distension of muscles and ligaments), of the painful syndrome.
The warming and massage effect of the medical bandages is obtained as a result of interaction of the particular combination of wool fibers camel wool or alpaca wool combined with sheep wool) selected in a way to provide the maximum massage and warming effect.
Mixing of various kinds of natural wool brings about an effect of mixture of fluff fibers with transition fibers that provides for the maximum curing effect.
Addition of sheep wool to the yarn favor an improvement of the product properties bound to an increase of the softness of the last.
The WOOLGALAXY®-brand elastic curative bandages are sewn (stitched) from an elastic jersey fabric made of yarn containing camel wool or alpaca wool which provides for making products with prescribed service and preventive curative properties.
The WOOLGALAXY®-brand elastic curative bandages represent sewn (stitched) a nondetachable profiled product of cone-formed or tubular shape.
The variants of execution of the medical bandages differ only by a diameter, which is due to different volumes of the body parts.
WOOLGALAXY® (“the Lux belt”) are to be manufactured in 7 standard sizes, from 1 to 7. The characteristics of the bandage standard sizes are given in Table 1.
